Need your help re: Import dialog
#1
Sorry for the newbe question…
… and even not related to MB :-(
but:
I have a remote control app for my X32 hardware
https://downloads.music-group.com/softwa...3.1.tar.gz
and
https://downloads.music-group.com/softwa...3.1.tar.gz
and
https://downloads.music-group.com/softwa...2.5.tar.gz,
and it's 'import scenes' dialog shows this :
It won't show columns and thus not let me chose to sort by date…
I already asked on the corresponding forums :
http://forum.music-group.com/showthread....#post91016
and even wrote email to the care dpt.
and they replied it would be a 'Linux' thing.
The app is based on 'Juce' and it could be a 'Juce' problem, not ?
Or can I change some settings in Ubuntu Studio 12.0.4 ?
I tried the import function in Ardour and it showed columns with names, dates, size…and could be sorted by date.

Please help …
Thank you very much and
best regards

It could indeed be an issue with the tool kit or it's appearance in a given desktop environment. If I have time later today I have a look under avlinux / xfce.

Hi Klaus,

I just tried it here. It's actually a great little software but schade the dialogue is not programmed to show headers and sorting - as far as I can see. It also doesn't remember the last used path, so you have to navigate the whole tree from ~ every single time... you better create a short cut if you have a deep structure and name your files with date (or any other sorting criteria) first...

Frohe Weihnachten!
Cheers,
