Mixer MIDI track meter not showing
#1
I just noticed that on the Mixer window, I have a MIDI track sending signals to external MIDI program and I can hear that external program in its own monitoring bus, but I don't see the meters moving on that MIDI track sending those signals. On the Main editor window the track does have its tiny MIDI meter moving as expected and if I select it or make it active, the editor mixer has the same issue as the Mixer window strip. I already tried changing the metering point to all options without success.

Any ideas? Huh

Thanks Big Grin

EDIT:

If I remember Ardour shows it and moving the fader it affects the MIDI values right? 0-127

The Mixbus Channelstrip has only audio level meters (mono or stereo only). -- Window > Meterbridge has variable, configurable meters (same as Ardour)

And yes if there is only a MIDI signal going through the fader, the fader acts as velocity multiplier * 0..2
