Mixbus was compiled with GCC4,
#1
Hi everyone. When I launched the install of Mixbus 3.7.20 had a curious error message never had before: "Mixbus was compiled with GCC4, your system uses a newer version of standard C+++ library. Plugins on your system may not load or plugins-Uis may cause crashes."

PC on Ubuntu Studio 16.01.4 LTS
Mixbus 3.6.0
Ardour 5.4.0
then Mixbus 3.7.20 (noticed some pbs with last version. some sessions can not be opened with 3.7.20, I stay with the logo, session never opens
As it's blocked I must kill the process, and reboot my computer because "Fails to open audio device")

thanks for explanations.
In my computer, 3.6.0 works better than 3.7.20 (Cannot use 3.7.20) :/
(I stay with 3.6.0 for the moment, it works fine)

Why should one have to ask, unless gcc5 is in beta,
in which case inviting beta-testers might be fun.
Offer a prize for the best bugCatcher.

btw, wish 4 Happy Thanksgiving,
and safe travels to all the Mixbus fambly!
Cheers

One doesn't need to, Harrison always provide links for both versions.

Please refrain from verbally abusing Mixbus users: they definitly do not belong to the class of idiots. Wink
