Plugins not recognised across OS
#1
Have the same setup of Mixbus and plugins installed on Windows and OSX. Plugins licensed+active and work fine on both computers, but opening a project made in Windows on OSX yields the following message on startup: "This session contains the following plugins that cannot be found on this system:" and then basically lists all the plugins used. The plugins are then replaced by inactive stubs in the project. No problem to add new working and active instances of the (presumably) same plugins after open. Anyone had this issue? Have tried clearing blacklist+cache and rescanning.

@Overmann: Are these 3rd-party plugins?

Note that Mixbus loads AU plugins on Mac, and VST plugins on Windows; so even if the same plugin is available on both systems ( Waves L1, for example) .... it will be a different format and so must be replaced with the platform's version.

However please note that the Harrison, X42, and other bundled LV2 plugins are provided for all platforms and should operate identically whether you are on Mac, Windows, or Linux.

Best,
-Ben

Thank you Ben. This must be what is happening. I have not used the OSX version in a while and did not forsee having this problem.
