Linux Studio Project
#1
Information
Hi all,
I've written a "manual" on installing Mixbus as a "dedicated studio" on a system running Debian GNU/Linux. With much thanks to Frank W. Kooistra (from these forums) and C.L. Seamus (a Canadian editor I know from another forum).

The PDF is ready (and should not contain too much spelling or Grammar errors Big Grin)
and can be downloaded from github at : https://github.com/cloudywizzard/Linux_S...ect_v1.pdf

This is not the most elegant or best solution, but it should help anyone who wants to give Mixbus on Linux a try.

I hope it's usefull

Hi Patrick,
thanks for that. Everything which makes the start with Linux easier is helpful. Something they can build on. There certainly is a learning curve before you enjoy the opportunities. Many give up too early. It's like learning an instrument Smile

Thanks for help! It will be a challenge to blend hardware synths/gear
with non-uniform midi, the various linux audio engines and workflows,
with the many options and signal paths Mixbus offers. Look forward
to the good reading!
Cheers

Thanks for the credits Patrick,
Sorry for not being really responsive for some time. When my fxed machines were repaired all my mobile machines decided to die, My mac and my Linux box : looks like beyond reasonable repair ...
