Aux Bus Automation not working

While trying to automate the mute on an Aux Bus I've created, the write and touch modes work fine, however when then setting the automation in Play mode in order to have my changes take effect, the automation simple doesn't work.

I think I ran into this a while back, and forgot to test it before submitting it. To complete the project, I used a fader vst and automated that instead.
