You have at least one method for naming things, right. What best works for you? How consistent are you for sticking with your scheme?

If you mean track names, I learned a long time ago that many tracks can be abbreviated to 3 or 4 characters, such as:
Kik
Snr
Hat
Tom1
Tom2
Tom3
OhL
OhR
RmL
RmR
Bass
aGtr
eGtr
aPno
ePno
OrgL
OrgR
OrgB
Lvox
BgvL
BgvR

Thanks. I use the same type of individual track naming.
What names do you use to save under if you have two or three bands on the same date? The date? The name of the band? Both? And what happens if some of the bands start after midnight?
best, john

BTW
Can the actual audio files recorded be named automatically by the track name - and take number ?
( couldn't find it in the manual )
Thanks, best regards
