Hi,
Since we now have the Monitor Section in the "console" as a channel strip, it should be able to be selected (red frame) and
with <Shift+E> to be presented in the Editor area. I (and others) have asked for this before and I strongly suggest it again. It is very convinient to have it there, especially
when making sensitive edits needed to be heard louder, without having to move the fader and altering the balance in the mix. Worst if automation has already been applied.
I would prefer it detouchable too, but I know the issues with window managers and floating windows. (Although in Windows there is only one wm...).
