3.1 - MeterBridge - Sizing issue?
#1
I posted this a couple days ago, but in the wrong area...

Regarding the Meter Bridge...

It seems to be a little inconsistent:
Sometimes when I start up a mix, the Meter Bridge only includes the
channel strips, no MixBus or Master buses. Trying to stretch the right side of the window does not work.

I go to: Session -> Properties -> MeterBridge and see that "Show Busses"
and "Include Master Bus" are checked. I seem to have to un-check them,
save, re-check them, save and them alt-B. The newly displayed bridge
can now be stretched and the MixBus and Master meters are now visible.

Does anyone else experience this?

Thanks!
Patrick

------------------------

Now that I've had a couple more days to play with 3.1 I see that this is
indeed an unexpected behavior and very consistent. Here is what I found
to do in order to get a "full" MeterBridge:
- Open session, alt-B and notice that the meter bridge does not include
the MixBus or Master Bus and cannot be sized wider to the right.
- Session -> Properties -> Meterbridge
- uncheck "Show Busses" and "Include Master Bus"
- exit Properties
- Save session
- re-open Properties
- check "Show Busses" and "Include Master Bus"
- exit Properties
- Save session
- Close Session
- reopen session
MeterBridge should now be 1) visible and 2) resizable to show MixBusses
and Master Bus.

This seems very much like a bug. Fortunately it can be (inconveniently)
worked around, as I have provided above.

Cheers!

Hi Patrick,

Yes, I've some similar problems:

I have saved my default options for the Meterbridge previously.
I start a new session and the Meterbridge opens up correctly, with my saved options.
I close the session.
I open the session again and the Meterbridge doesn't show my saved options (Mixbusses, Master) and is not resizeable.

I have tried your instructions above, and yes, now it is resizeable and shows my selected options.

Thanks Smile

I verified that the issues, described earlier in this thread, still exist in MB 3.2.

Cheers!

This is fixed, on my end, in the new 3.4 releases of Mixbus and Mixbus32C.
Thanks guys!
