It does not exist in the latest interim, but
I remember "my-dark.color" file had to be changed, overwritten. I even saved the original and still have it. But do not remember in which directory in Win7 it was.

Once I reinstalled MB2.5 (in November) and it created an .old extension (August) and kept the eyedoctor version in use.

Latest interim killed itSad on my PC

Hi Tassy

Go to preferences and make a change in the gui

than look for it : most probale in C:\Users\YOUR_NAME_\AppData\Local\Mixbus3
most probably the .old version is also still there

Hope this helps

I was uncomfortable with the default Ardour color scheme and after some tweaking made a selection of colors which are easier to my eyes and to my taste\monitor.

Let me share with you what I have here - "Eye Doctor" theme.

My goal was to arrange colors in a more comfortable combination, avoiding strong colors and to color-code important elements.

I was not able to find how to edit channelstrip elements made by Harrison, I hope they will give us this possibility. For instance, I couldnt find how to change Mute and Solo buttons in Mixer view (I don`t like PaleYellow-PaleGreen, I`d prefer StrongYellow-StrongRed).
I used "flat" buttons option.

This is my font scaling for 1280x1024 screen:

Feel free to experiment with colors yourselves: Alt+P - Theme tab - Items

Installation:

All you need to do is just replace your default "my-dark.colors" file with mine (which has the same name).

Under Win:

1. Go to C:\Users\YOUR_NAME_\AppData\Local\Mixbus3

2. Make backup of your own "my-dark.colors" file and replace it with mine.

If you don`t like it then overwrite mine with yours.

Have fun!

P.S. There are many cool color themes by Yriisem here:

Have a look, choose your theme and install it according to the instruction above.

Thx for these Andy76, GREAT!
