Whether the devices were not showing up in the actual Mixbus program channel strips or, at the Mixbus start session menus also, try reviewing the info below.

At the top of area of each midi/instrument channel strip in the Mixbus window, is where the midi device can be selected. Likewise, mic/line channels from your audio device can also be selected at the top of AUDIO channels as well. If you are not familiar where to look, it may not be easily visible.

When beginning a new session, at the MB3 Audio/MIDI Setup menu select PORTAUDIO for 'Audio System;' ASIO for 'Driver;' YOUR AUDIO DEVICE for both 'Input' and 'Output Device;' and SAMPLE RATE must match the sample rate set at your sound device. At the MIDI System drop down; be sure that WinMME is also selected.

Tim has made many excellent Mixbus videos and they cover a good part of how to use the program. Check the website or, YouTube for them. The online manual is also available through the help menu, as usual.

If you are still having trouble, be sure to go through the check list: use latest ASIO drivers for your sound device and make sure it is selected as the Windows default audio output in the Windows playback/recording devices settings (right click the speaker icon at the bottom right of your screen to access.)

If none of that works and you already haven't, try contacting Harrison directly. Hope you get up and running soon.
