Are you using Jack to bridge the two systems ?

OK, firstly setup Jack to your session needs 48k etc.
I create 32 virtual I/O save and start Jack.
Start Protools, create your session. In PT >setup>IO, you will see your 32 channels of I.O from Jack. However in my case with an 8ch I/O sound card, the first eight slots are the sound card, Jack channels 9 thru 32 are for routing to Mixbus. If you have a six I/O sound card then the first six Jack slots equate to that. Remember in Protools that you need to create outputs as well as busses, then assign busses to outputs... Silly Avid...
Next Open Mix3us and set to Jack for Audio and create your session and as many tracks as you need mono stereo whatever..
In the MB3 Audio Connections Manager window, you will now see a page called Others. I then patch PT # 9 (remembering the first eight are my sound card) onwards to the respective track on Mix3us.
Then still in ACM, patch whatever Mixbus Busses back to the desired slots for return to Tools. I tend to use 31 and 32 to return a stereo mix back to Tools.
In Tools create a new stereo track, then assign Jack 31-32 as inputs , and assign monitoring return to your Soundcard.
Set all your MB3 channels to input, then play Tools and you are away.
Two known issues that Ben has on his list....
Machine Control is currently not working for me, and having MB3 tracks record armed cause MB3 to hang...but you can get proper audio throughput this way.

Hope this is clear enough Smile

When I attempt to setup virtual channels jack wont run.
If I set virtual to the amount of hardware in and outputs it works fine
