I just installed Mixbus v10 Pro.
Whenever I try to open a project created in a previous version of Mixbus 32C, v9 for instance, as soon as the GUI comes up the application quits. Like, *poof*. I get a warning from the OS the application quit unexpectedly. If I create a new project Mixbus will fully launch and remain launched, though when I quit the application I get the same warning regarding the application quit unexpectedly, even though I initiated the quitting of the application. Anybody have any ideas what is happening? I’m running it on a MacBook Pro early 2012 laptop running MacOS Catalina 10.15.7. I’ve never had any issues with any other load of Mixbus.

Can you try launching the v9 project in safe mode (disable plugins) - checkbox on the Session Setup window ?

Hi, just downloaded 10.0.11 in an attempt to correct a non-related issue. I had been unable to route channels to Mixbus’s. Indicator LED was on but was getting no sound on the MB’s. This was yesterday. Today, I tried again. Interestingly, when I selected a bus, an automation lane would open in the editor on the track I selected a Mixbus. Very strange indeed. Incidentally this occurred on an i7 iMac running High Sierra. I will try on Catalina and Ventura as will. I’m not sure how this fix affected the problem I was having but I’m happy….. X42, any ideas? Thanks though!
Oh, and graphics performance seems improved over V9 and V8 as well. LED meters seem more responsive and window resizing has less lag though it’s still there to an extent. I had changed the color space on both monitors from Apple RGB to Generic RGB after reading some experiments Justin Frankel had performed on MacOS and bit-mapped graphics. Interesting read BTW.

Edit / Show Automation Lane on Touch is a check option.
Note that 10.0.11 is Intel only release.

I downloaded and installed 10.0.44 this morning and my automation lane(s) appearing when I select a bus (and the bus remains unselected) has disappeared. All is well with v10 on High Sierra!
