Mixbus 32C crashes, refuses to start again.

A plugin in one of the profiles caused mixbus to crash.
Mixbus however will not start

Starting 32C from terminal gives me the following output.

Mixbus never starts after the above executed.

Deleting the offending plugin in the directory read by the searchpath does not help either

Any ideas how I can get it up again ?

Maybe you need to increase that limit. Here:

Completely overlooked the file limit, as there were plugin errors later.

I can now remember I had the same problem a few years ago. I did not seem to document the solution in my installation script and did a new Linux install a while ago so lost that fix. I upgrade Linux about every three years and have a rugged script to get all the complex audio stuff working but forgot to add this.
