Do the XT plugins need to be relicensed for SSL?

No - XT range are LV2 plugins and as such only* work in Harrison Mixbus / 32C and Ardour and are not being iLoked.
That only applies to the AVA / MPC and 32C range of plugins. *someone from the Linux world might be able to clarify this.

Yes, XT plugins still work with a serial number license. But I think that they can also work in other DAWs that support the LV2 format, if you know how to give it the right folder to look for them.
Hopefully they will continue to be delivered with Mixbus and continue to work for the foreseeable future. These are published as AVA versions for other formats, but hopefully these great LV2 versions will always be part of the Mixbus/32C workstation. And I will be happy if we get even more of them. More Harrison sound awesomeness is always a better world to live in

XT plugins also tested working fine for me in Reaper on a Windows machine.
