I've read the posts about the metronome going silent with 32c, but the solutions don't work for me in mixbus 9.

Anyone have suggestions?

Referring the screen shot below:
Ensure that the metronome is enabled (top left screen)
In Preferences/Metronome observe the option to enable metronome only if in record. If checked the metronome will only output when Master Record is armed.
In Audio Connections Manager make sure the Click is routed to the correct hardware outputs.
