Hello... Interesting issue popped up last night.
I use Fabfilter Pro Q3 to EQ match my vocal to create an EQ curve to carve out some frequencies in the instrumental track.
In Fabfilter, when I switch it to 'linear phase'...my vocal track no longer is in sync with my instrumental..put it back to 'natural phase', it is fine...
I have done this a million times with my old v8 32C (i7 intel Mac) setup. I upgraded to v9 and an M2 (24GB Ram) Mac and now this is happening.
Not sure which is the culprit..the new ARM M2, v9 32C or some audio engineering issue I am yet to figure out...
In the meantime, I will be reconnecting my old system to test and see if it is still working as it should.
My guess is it is some sort of plugin latency issue associated with the new apple silicon, but I am hoping it is something I have just overlooked.
