Hi,

Is this possible? As I am experiencing too many glitches and bugs to work in Vs 8 anymore..

MB ver 8's number for current sessions is 7001 and (AFAICR) it was the same for ver 7 so in theory it should be okay. To be on the safe side, make a safe copy of your session somewhere (i.e. copy the whole session folder) but in theory yes, it should work.

Thx, any tips on how to do that? Every time I try to open it up and mix bus 7 it just disappears like quick crash....

You mean you already tried opening in MB ver7 and it doesn't work?

Select your session in the Startup window - then hold Ctrl while you click the Open button. This'll open it in Safe Mode (i.e. with the plugins disabled).

You might have more success rolling back to 8.1

Dingo is right. 8.1.378 opens it and works rather smoothly. On my win7/64.
Win7/64, Mixbus32C, Mixbus2.5 the QueenSmile UR22, Dynaudio BM5A MKII, Pc all SSD,

It's it possible for anyone to send me a Windows installer for MIXBUS 8.1? For some reason I always store my installers but I can't find this one. Thanks, Jeff

It might be worth asking here  Apparently Ben was planning to provide links to older installers but I don't know if they're available yet.
