No Master Output
#1
Hello and Happy Holidays!

I had just started to rebuild my DAW setup on a new SSD drive. System is Windows 10 Pro, Dell 9020 i7 Optiplex, audio interface ZOOM R16. The audio works well for Edge, Youtube, etc. Then Installed Mixbus 6.2.407 and selected ASIO and ZOOM R16 for audio in and outs. I can record sound and see the wave display on the timeline, the meter lights are jumping on the track and master meters during recording and on playback, all looks good, but no sound from the monitors.

I tried exporting the recorded audio track to a wave file successfully and can play it back with Media Player. In Mixbus under the master faders, the OUTPUT button shows Master Output Disconnected, so I selected Output 1&2, and the program freezes and crashes. Also the routing grid, showed no connection to the audio hardware, assigning the outputs to the hardware also freezes and crash Mixbus. Finally, I tried selecting the Show Monitor Section option and that froze and crashed it and now it will no longer boot at all.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Mixbus a few times with the same results.

This same setup was running well on the old hardrive.

Thank you!

Hi naan, you might want to trash your preferences and reload Mixbus to the factory settings... http://www.harrisonconsoles.com/mixbus/m...ser-topics
The process of enabling outputs from the Master or using the Monitor section as you have described is correct...

If you don't want to trash your preferences, best to email support: mixbus@harrisonconsoles.com
