DSP OVERLOAD
#1
Hi Everyone,

In Mixbus 8.1 I've just opened a project @96k with 2 trks of audio and my template with Aux busses. I want to start recording in directly inot MB but my DSP is already at 75% with only 2 audio trks. I haven't even added the GTR trk with the amp sim. I have turned off all the FX for the template Aux busses with no change....

I'm working with Win 10 I9 20 core 48 gigs of Ram machine with built in SSD drives. Windows is streamlined for Audio so could anyone help me with this issue?

Thx, Jeff

Check if your audio buffer size is very small. If it looks normal, how are things if you create a new session?

DSP also depends on what audio interface you use.
Not for DSP but for CPU speed I use UnparkCPU.exe that makes possible that all cores are always active without any delay while windows sorts the tasks to any of them.
