more channels than the target

Hi Guys
Anyone could explain what it means in the export dialogue
What may cause this? What is the "target"?
I have never met it before
thanks
Tassy

It's not something I've ever seen but I'd guess it means you've a track count mismatch - e.g. you're exporting as mono when the tracks are stereo maybe?

RESOLVED
Got the same message in another session
no mono on the master now, and no red lines  in the log
Then I found I put gliss eq on the master and it has 8 outputs if not manually configured the pins
so had 2 in and 8 out ad the "target" is the CD stereo export so 8 was more than 2Smile
