RME UCX is here and working in MB V8

Hi All
After having to read the manual!!!! I managed to set the UCX into CC mode. Jack and MB see the track count.

Using main outputs 1 and 2 for my monitors.

Fired up my multitrack and hit play :

IT WAS VERY VERY LOUD

Manual again to find PH and how to turn it down on phones and chanel 1 and 2. Better now.

Will be trying recording on Saturday to MB.

I'm assuming that Jack is controlling the Settings IE: 48k 

Coming from the FCA 1616 it seems a fuller sound or that may be just me.

Anyone using this device on MB let me know.

So The RME UCX is fine under Ubuntu studio for recording to MB.
Only issue I have is monitoring the in out from a channel to headphones.
IE:  guitar into ch1 on the interface  can be seen recording to Mb but I cannot route that sound to headphones.
Even  tried on a win10 laptop and total mix thing.

Not sure how I get round this.

An idea as I have alway used hardware monitoring.
