Do you want to get audio signal into an empty audio track?
Where would you expect to get it from?
Audio tracks in MB can get wave signals either by recording or by importing or by routing from another track.
What is exactly you do?
Win7/64, Mixbus32C, Mixbus2.5 the Queen

It'd also be helpful to know what platform you're working on (I assume MacOS if you were previously using Logic ???)

ok - sorry for my missing info . here goes:
I'm on a Mac mini M1 - Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 - I have input on the soundcard - and works flawless in Logic.
I have audio out from Mixbus - I can import files and mix them - all is well.
But, when I make a new audio track, I can't get any audio into Mixbus. When the session is opened/started the Focusrite Scarlet is shown

Hi Franne500,
Welcome to the Mixbus Forum... a few things to check with reference to the manual...
Basics of recording are shown here...
https://rsrc.harrisonconsoles.com/mixbus.../recording
Make sure the channel has the mic input patched to it....
https://rsrc.harrisonconsoles.com/mixbus...c/jack-i-o
This section goes into input / disc monitoring...
https://rsrc.harrisonconsoles.com/mixbus...monitoring
Also when you first launched Mixbus it would have asked for permission to access the microphone (input devices for audio).
If you did not grant access then even if the pre sees the audio input Mixbus will not be able to access.
