Track coloring not working V7

So I noticed that in V7 I cannot change track colors. See the 2 attachments.

I may need to make some default changes?

1st is what I would like to do
2nd screenshot is what it's doing in V7
This never happened in V6.
Yes I checked the manual and watched tutorials on this.
Any help would be appreciated!

Are these drum tracks grouped? You might have ticked the group colour in the grouping dialogue?

Preferences / Appearance / Editor / Region color follows track color
