Session housekeeping question
#1
So, I've just finished a session.  Final mix has been put to bed.  Everybody's happy.  Now to archive the session.

Is there a way, aside from picking through the session's folders by hand, to get rid of all the files that ended up not being used for the project.
For instance, there are two guitar tracks that were basically recorded as place holders to work out timing at the start of the project.  They were never intended to see the light of day.
Also there were a few vocal takes that had technical issues that prevented them from being useful.
Then there are the numerous references mixes as we worked our way through the final mix process.  Most of those files are junk, along with a pile of snapshots that need never be revisited.

Is there a somewhat simple way of cleaning out all the unnecessary files without blowing up the session?
