recording stopped after approx 1h

So yesterday I had a gig and I was multitracking the entire thing through Dante VSC.
the meters where showing signal the entire night and the entire thing was last saved at a time which seems to be correct.
I have 150GB of raw audiofiles, but when I open them, most of them are empty..
the project itself goes silent after approximately 1h.

anyone an idea?

EDIT:
extra information regarding backup files.
there are 2 backup snapshots. one which stops at exactly the moment my project goes silent and the other one is the full project but only with sound until said moment.

No, but it sounds like a pretty serious bug. Do you often make long recordings or was this the first one? Maybe when you can find some free time, try seeing if you can reproduce the problem.

I'm planning on doing this more often. Previous ones are always shorten than 1h.
I'll setup my computer and let it run a recording, it wont be a 32 channel recording but maybe I can still reproduce it this way.
