Using a Behringer BCF2000 in 32c
#1
Hi,

I'm using a Behringer BCF2000 in 32c - I've got it in Logic mode and in 32c's settings I've selected 'Mackie' and BCF2000 from the drop-down menu.

It seems to work ok (although I haven't explored the buttons yet, just the faders) but it won't jump to a track when selected on the screen.

Is there something that I need to tweak to make it do this?

Thanks in advance!!!  Angel Angel Angel

read the manual...
put Behringer in Mackie mode for 32c not logic - yes it will still sorta work in logic but not properly

You did everything correct: BCF2000 in Logic mode, Mixbus32c in Mackie mode and obviously you selected the correct Midi ports, too. The mapping is straight forward as you have seen, but (to my best knowledge) there is no way that a bank select on the BCF2000 happens when you click on a track outside the current range.

Trying out the BCF2000 in LC mode...MB32C7.2
Forward and Back work but with audio enabled...
Is there a way to disable audio / add new code to the mapping ?

Thanks a lot for help

in theory you should be able to edit your mapping file for Mackie Control and assign those buttons to different actions.   From the Ardour documentation: "Every possible global Mackie Control button can be bound to any action present in Ardour's GUI. "

The list of actions: https://manual.ardour.org/appendix/menu-actions-list/

I couldn't find 'forward without audio' or 'rewind without audio'...
Could it be this isn't available at all ?
Planned for the future ?
Imagine the recording engineer explaining the artists that the they have to take off the headphones
off their heads every time he manually locates by rewinding / forwarding and by looking on the waveform on the screen...
if they don't want to listen scrolling...
Maybe I'm missing some settings ?

Thanks
