Is it possible to totally remove automation?
#1
Hi, when I import sessions from Samplitude using AATranslator the tracks in Mixbus have the automation mode set to Read and have FADER and MUTE automation information. I already tried the mixer reset script but I doen´t remove this automation information. I have to go track by track and remove it manually.
Is there a way to do it with a script or a sepecific funciotn?
Thanks

Open the Automation lane (Mute, Fader etc) then right click on the header for that lane and click on clear. That will delete all existing automation from that lane.

Thanks dingo, that is what I do. I'd like to know if there is way to do it with one script or function in all the tracks at once.

Same here Automation keeps showing per track in Editor screen and it really clutters the place up.

If Automation Lanes are showing automatically after touching a control then un-check .... Edit / Show Automation Lane on Touch.

Attached is a Lua script to remove all fader and mute automation from all strips (except VCAs).

The ".txt" will need removing from the download so it's just *.lua instead of *.lua.txt

Site admins: is it possible to add *.lua as a valid attachment type in this forum?

.txt   remove_all_automation.lua.txt (Size: 485 bytes / Downloads: 16)
