Midi note selected colour

Just noticed that the "midi note selected" colour does not appear to work. The "midi note selected outline" works though. Is there a reason for this or is this a bug?

From memory there is a transparency setting that reveals that setting but I can't re-find it.
Hopefully Yriisem or Ben will read this thread and answer.
