Mixbus & Mixbus 32C 32 bit and 64 bit question?
#1
I have Mixbus and Mixbus 32C, 32 and 64 bit versions. I have the 32 bit version because I have older 32 bit VST's. Does the new version 7 support 32 bit and 64 bit VST's? I can't seam to download the latest updates to version 6 in both 32 and 64 bit.

Thanks for any help.

64 bit MB can use 32 bit VST if you convert them by JBridger free app.
I use a lot 32 bit VST in my 64 bit MB

Thanks for the replies. I have tried the JBridge before but I did not have any success but I'll give it another try and let you know what happens.

Care should be taken not to have the 32 bit plugin dll in two or more places.
If you put a dll in the JBridger "wanted" folder the same dll is to be removed from its other (original) place.
Then add the "converted" folder into MB VST scan list

Hi Jeff,

I'm going to add a little extra explanation to Monsieur Tassy's excellent advice. I created a folder called JBridged and set JBridger to place its "converted" VST plugin dll's under that folder. Then I added that folder to the VST 64 folder list in Mixbus Preferences>VST Plugins. This worked flawlessly - the 32bit plugins work as if they're 64 bit. I attached a screenshot of how my VST's are organized
