Hi there, is the xr18 useable as an audio/ midi interface for Linux?

Behringer usually (always?) have standard compliant USB interfaces on everything.

Yes, i can confirm, it shows up as an 18in 18out Interface in Jack. And you control everything (Gain, 48V ...) from the X-airEdit software.

Thanks! I'm really a very light Linux user, but I'm thinking about building some machines for different venues I work in. So I'm bound to ask some basic questions! Does Jack give you full 24 bit depth? In the PC world, class compliant is 16 bit only, I believe, unless that's changed with Win 10.

I think that bit depth is dependant of the soundcard, jack will be happy with whatever you feed him.
