Groups not behaving as they should - Scardanelli - 04-22-2024

Just installed MB 10. Quick test importing ten percussion tracks.
Created a group. All boxes checked.
When I select one region, either it only auto-selects another with a similar name (Cajon H, Cajon Low) or it just selects one region (FX perc) if that track has no similar sounding name. I've adjusted the end points to match (but some were shorter by several bars) and that increased the selected regions to 4 - am I mistaken in the normal behaviour of groups? It's been a few months since my last mix in MB so it could be me....

I expect grouped tracks to auto-select all regions in the group, so I can move the start time in one go for example.

Anyone comment?

If you have a number of different length regions in the timeline - you might want to look at Preferences / Editor / Regions in edit groups are edited together:

try the option whenever they overlap in time.

Or if preferred you can also lasso a number of regions and then create an Edit Group - right mouse / Selected regions / Group Selected Regions or Command+G

Cool, I'll try that, thanks Dingo
