I would like to drag a Quicktime video in to MB, and then add audio trax to that time line. Will MB track the video and display it in a monitor window?
Once the mix is complete, I export a a Stereo aif to add to the video..

If you are on linux, you can easily do this with xjadeo.
Can you explain that a bit sonik? Do you mean run them parallel and use mmc for transport?
Nope, Jack.
Basically you open a video file with xjadeo, you open a project in Mixbus, you select Jack as syncsource and deselect Time Master. Then your videofile will be synced to the timeline of Mixbus.
