This is surely being lazy. I use a tube stereo compressor (hardware) (1) for both guitar recording and as insert on the master bus. Because of the audio card, the stereo jacks that goes to the compressor are 1/4". Whereas the guitar stereo preamps (2 mics) uses XLR to the compressor.
Anyone knows of a box that would allow to switch the input of the compressor between these two in a lazy quick way (as opposed to going behind the compressor and manually switching the cables) ?
