I just bought them and I was wondering where to get a manual. What is the abbreviation of BBC and things like that? is there a manual to understand them while I'm using them?
There is only usage information at http://x42-plugins.com/x42/x42-meters

A quick intro that came to be as background research for the x42-meters (and related plugins) can be found at http://x42-plugins.com/x42/static/meters.pdf (in proceedings of the ICMC'14).

A manual about metering standards does fill several books. "Audio Metering: Measurements, Standards and Practice: Measurements, Standards and Practics", by Eddy Brixen (http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Metering-Mea...0240814673) is a good one.
Wikipedia is OKish for a quick intro though: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peak_programme_meter

to answer the specific question: BBC meters are a standard established by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and used throughout their network of influence.
