my license key dissapeared!!!! i have a deadline!!
#1
after using mixbus for a few year and really liking it all of a sudden my license key disappeared. I tried calling mixbus but got a voicemail that wouldnt let me leave a message. I am on a deadline and if if dont get this resolved i stand to lose $$$ for a VO that i need to email within 24 hours!

I have paid for this and honestly i expected better customer service from a company that is an industry giant. I do see though that the have no problem send me emails (which i don't mind) without any issue.

Perhaps Harrison consoles should focus on CS instead of trying to et me to crossgrade, upgrade or purchase their plugins.

I would appreciate some help here. Anyone from Harrison actually on these forums?

crisis adverted. Harrison emailed me back with a key! My faith has somewhat been restored. I would like though to find out why this happened though....

Amen to that! I have mine saved in at least 4 different places on different computers and external backup drives and one in the cloud on box.com .

Try losing your iLok or other mechanisms, which don't even allow a copy, of other vendors bigger than Harrison...

I swore off using anything with a hardware dongle after corrupting and having to reinstall SoundGrid software on a Digico SD8 one time. The show nearly didn't go on that day.
There's always another solution.

Ditto. iLok, HASP or even worse using the PC hardware as a dongle is a big thanks but no thanks for me.
In my day job 80% minimum of the most time consuming "computer problems" are actually licensing problems.

I recall hearing about 15 years ago people were using a pirate version of Cubase solely because the legit version had major issues because of its copy protection!  Thank ${deity} Harrison doesn't cripple Mixbus like that.
