I have gone to Window->Keyboard Shortcuts and bound the 1 through 9 keys on the number pad to "Locate to Mark n" for n 1 through 9.
There are several situations when mixing that I like to be able to quickly bounce around to different parts of the session. One example is when I am applying some dynamics processing and I want to hear what is happening during a loud part and during a medium part and during a quiet part.
When I am looking at the editor window this works as one would expect. Ardour used to do this by default, back in the day.
When I switch to the mixer window these bindings don't work, they make the playback go backwards or double time or some other weird thing. This is not what I want, I just the want the playhead to move to the appropriate mark the same as when I have the editor window up.
Ardour 6 does not have this problem, it works as expected.
I can't for the life of me find the appropriate actions in the keyboard shortcuts dialogue.
What do I do?
