Pulseaudio with Mixbus
#1
I see that PA is now an option for sound i/o. Very interesting. Has anyone tried this? I did tonight and wow the noise was awful. Just lots of static noise. Is this experimental? Are there any prerequisites for using it? It just seemed like a very cool option to use for a non-professional musician who uses Linux as a main OS. As long as it works, that is.

Maybe try disable time-based scheduling in /etc/pulse/default.pa:

Find the line:
Code:
load-module module-udev-detect

And add: tsched=0
Code:
load-module module-udev-detect tsched=0
Then restart pulseaudio or logout and login again
