Yes I thought so my keyboard saving is now automatic as last, So not a massive drama.
I'm using the NVIDIA closed source driver at the mo.
In Debian with Nvidia driver, I've found in Nvidia Settings OpenGL section, uncheck "Sync to Vblank" and set "High Performance" fixes some issues. YMMV. Nvidia Settings saves the config to ~/.nvidia-settings-rc but doesn't load it automatically for each boot.
If it works for you, nvidia-settings needs to be run after boot. I put a script in Autostart with
