This morning I received an email that an update to Mixbus v5.2 was released. After "ordering" it, the email arrived with all the usual links, including Mixbus 32C, Windows 64bit, which I use.
But when downloading and installing, I discover it is the same version I already have installed:
Mixbus 32C 5.2.191
(rev. 5.2-191-g2ae750c)
Intel 64-bit
Am I missing something here?

@David Boothe: I think what happened is that 5.2.191 was released shortly after the first email announcement went out a few weeks ago -- if you didn't get the first update announcement or didn't update right away after you got that announcement, you simply downloaded this newer version. The emails announcing updates always seem to go out a few days after the update is released.

Just noticed the 5.2 update, excited to install it.
Is there an email list that I should subscribe to to find out when updates happen? I just stumbled upon this by coming to the forum.
Also, where can I read more about the LaunchControl XL implementation? Turns out I have one laying around unused, but want to know how it's setup before swapping out my BCR2000.

Regarding the Novation Launch Control XL, a benefit is that if you happen to have (or plan to get) one of Sound Devices MixPre field recorders, it too can be controlled with the Novation Launch Control XL out of the box. This is great for me as I do 99% of my recording in the field, live, with a MixPre and then I can switch to the same control surface when I'm working with the recordings in Mixbus.
