Best controller for EQ and Comp right now?

What controller works best right now if the most important is to use it for
 32c/ssl eq and comp/gate in mixbus mixer?
And what combinations with Two controllers is really good?
Will SSL take the lead over Icon?
It seems Icon is still the best!
