plugins with over 32 parameters

I've been trying to learn all the requisite steps to map knobs on my controller to plugin parameters.  The user manual only points to YouTube and the forum suggestions have been useful in getting me on track.  But my particular problem persists and I suspect that there is a software limitation in my way.

This particular plugin is BlueCat Patchwork.  It can "expose" up to 40 mapped parameters to Mixbus, but also has its own default mapped parameters as well.  After lots of trial and error, I am assuming that there is a 32 parameter limit on what can be shown when I list the inline controls.  I have not been able to find any of my plugins that show more than 32, and this particular plugin maps well in other host apps.  

Is this limit what I am running into?  Any preference to increase it?  Am I totally off base?

Try Preferences /Appearance / Mixer / Mixer strip / Limit inline-mixer strip controls per control: default is 32 parameters can be up to 128..... Not sure if that will help.

Definitely helps.  Looked all over plug-in related prefs but never considered the mixer strip.
