Hi Tessy
Look at the keyboard language, hotkeys only work with the English layout, any other does not work possibly.

Find your files related to keys attribution re. your Mixbus installation and check what the key value for the action "ab-plugins" is set to,
here an example for a Linux env.
(I'm sure you can translate it to your environment but it case it'd seem obfuscated I'll just precise that grep is a tool to check/match strings in files and the paths given to it are first the path to the global installation of MXB32Cv6 files in the "etc" subdir which filename ends with "keys", and second one is for the same files in my user config directory for MXB32Cv6, last line is the output of the command which prints the file name "ardour.keys" holds the binding to this action for key "slash")
Code:
#>: grep -i plugin /opt/Mixbus32C-6.2.200/etc/*keys ~/.config/mixbus6/*keys
/opt/Mixbus32C-6.2.200/etc/ardour.keys:  <Binding key="slash" action="Mixer/ab-plugins" group="Processor operations on the selected strip(s)"/>

Then, if the value of the binding is not "slash" modify it (preferably from the Mixbus GUI since it'll bark in case of a doublon) and if it still doesn't work in the end that might be caused by some other program which already has "stolen" the "slash" binding (some toolbar or assistant programs may do that)
Good luck!
